Alexander Leaman is one of the most in-demand wedding photographers in Surrey.
Alexander Leaman approached us in Spring 2010 to design and build him a new website with a new content management system replacing his existing Flash website.
The site requirements were that it needed to be accessible, work on mobile devices and showed his portfolio off to the highest level. The work had to be the key focus and do all the talking!
Our approach was to strip down his existing site to the main elements, which we agreed upon in the original consultation.
We chose to use the Drupal CMS system to power the site's back-end allowing the client control of his content pages, portfolio and blog.
The resulting website is very clean and minimal, the uncluttered feel to the site allows attention to be focused on the clients portfolio. Using silky transitions we cycle through a selection of fantastic images, giving the site and his work the WOW effect!
The client expressed his need for the site to work with him and reduce his workload, so all the images are resized and optimised server-side throughout the site. This reduces the editing amount for the client. We also integrated his social networking sites, in particular Twitter. This then feeds into his Facebook updates, streamlining his work load.
