The World Cup Viewing Experience

The bane of the World Cup by Roberto Acuna

Surfing Youtube recently, I came across this funny little piece of World Cup association. Trying to include those who have missed the football by accident or design, Youtube has very graciously included a button feature on their videos that goes some way to replicating the viewing experience of World Cup 2010.

A small icon on the right side of the settings bar, the football symbol almost slipped me by, as it seemed to have always been there. I pressed the icon out of curiosity, only to have me jump out of my skin, and have my ear drums explode (I was using earphones at the time).

I have to say, it had me in stitches, as this is what I imagine it must be like to play in the stadiums in South Africa: annoying, loud and never-ending. Enjoy!
