A fresh approach

Inkygoodness’ London Play Exhibition

Inkygoodness’ Play

The tea*m were invited to attend the exclusive viewing of Inkygoodness’ debut London exhibition Play at the East Gallery in Brick Lane. Being fans of all kinds of art and illustration, it was an offer we couldn’t refuse.

Making our way through seemingly every single curry house this side of India, each one with their very own man making promises at the door, we finally arrived at lost. Not soon after, with a little help from a guard, we managed to leave lost and find what we came looking for: the East Gallery.

Sweat was dripping, shoulders were rubbed and the walls bursting with creativity, with original and eye-catching art in abundance. Artwork I found the most agreeable was the work done by Ben Steers, McBess, Mister Millerchip and Camelia Dobrin. I believe the honours for best in show (as voted for by me) would have to go to Mister Millerchip’s two-piece ‘Kiss Chase” piece.

Having mingled with the artists and art lovers alike, it was decided not to outstay our welcome. The evening was topped off with a quick stop at the world famous 24hr Bagel shop, then off home!

All in all, a great evening out. And it was great seeing all the fashionistas in their natural habitat.
