Geek Squad Teaser Video

Creativitea* was approached to work with the Geek Squad, the 24 hour tech support team, the one “in cahoots with the Carphone Warehouse” on their new website launch video, and we couldn’t have been happier to do it (we can smell our own kind)!

We produced a short teaser promo for the Geeks to show to their chiefs, featuring full motion graphics depicting each page of their new site, and each feature of the page highlighted. Here’s the teaser in all its Geeky glory:

The process, as with all things, came first with an idea, which was then transferred onto paper via pencil and ink into a full storyboard, depicting all the movement and transitions of the teaser. The illustrators then passed the baton on to the motion designer, who brought the storyboard to life and, unsurprisingly, gave it motion.

It was a real tea*m effort, from art direction, story boarding, animation to making the tea and ordering the pizzas on the all nighters! We’re really happy with the outcome and are waiting for a client statement which we should receive shortly!
