Recently we teamed up with our friends at Print Reaction, FiveThree and Near Field Communication (Jersey) Ltd to deliver a QR Marketing Campaign Platform known as QR-Reactor.

QR Reactor is a professional solution for businesses who want to use QR Marketing throughout their campaigns. It offers full analytics in a simple, powerful platform, allowing businesses of any size to enter the mobile marketing arena, and to make a success of it.

QR Reactor allows you to create many different types of QR Codes to use in your marketing collateral.
These Include...
• Trackable QR Codes - All QR Codes are trackable and we provide you with in-depth analysis based on the Google Analytics platform.
• Custom QR Codes - Personalise your Quick Response Codes using our own tool, or ask our design team to provide you with a Designer QR Code.

Be sure to check out the new website www.qr-reactor.com for more articles, blog posts and information about QR activity.

We were recently asked to develop a mascot for S4nity IT Consultants. Rob designed a robot that draws influences from Disney, Steam Punk and 80's nostalgia. We worked with freelance CGI specialist Joe Hartford (http://jharford.4ormat.com/) to build the 3D model, whilst Adam helped bring it to life with exciting textures and details.

This is the first render which after some tweaking will get used on the new S4nity website, which Lindsay and I are hoping to launch in February. Hope you like it, we love the little dude!

2011 was an important year for us. It marked tea’s* third birthday, a major milestone for any company, as statistically most businesses fail in their first three years. Overcoming that hurdle was a great achievement and testament to the hard work everyone has put in to make tea* what it is.

Having moved into our new studio the previous year, 2011 was more about getting through the growing pains of our new home: accommodating more equipment, more storage, and the welcoming of not one, not two, but three new members of staff! Adam Zygadlo joined us full time as a Senior Motion Graphics Designer, followed by professional Canadian Karl Ditschun as our new Brand & Marketing Manager, and last but not least is Michelle, who joined us in accounting: our first line of defence against the taxman!

During the year the company saw further growth with the introductions of motion graphic and business development departments, working with new clients GlaxoSmithKline, Freeview, CPP, Consult Hyperion and Activision to name a few, business reviews and company spotlights in leading newspapers, delving into mobile app technology & development and creating sister company QR Reactor; building on the foundations we have worked hard on to really push on with in the future. We were also witness to the rise and ultimate fall of Ballee-Ballee as a way of deciding the tea making process; a tale as old as time.

We don’t know what the future holds, but the past shows a tea*m dedicated to creativity and a steady rise in...

Following the recent launch of the new Freeview campaign, we're proud to announce that the retail POS material we've been working on can now been seen across Freeview resellers across the country.

We were approached by our friends at Freeview to design and develop their retail channel material to work alongside the new campaign look and feel, which features Freeview happiness in the shape of brightly coloured channel balloons against a vibrant blue sky.

The work we produced consisted of bespoke product display units and various touch points for visual merchandising within the stores, and will be rolled out to retailers such as Comet, John Lewis and Tesco, as well as independent retailers across the UK.

Watch this space for more images to come.

Visiting the studio over the next month may be a strange experience, almost like walking into the The Blue Oyster Bar in Police Academy 1, 2, 3, and 4. Just without the leather and cheesy music (depending if Karl gets hold of the iPod).

We're all growing Moustaches (even Lindsay) to support the men's charity Movember. Movember is a movement dreamt up over a few beers to help bring back fashion trends and do it for a good cause. Growing a tash for the whole of November helps raise awareness for initiatives that support Prostate Cancer and Testicular Cancer. Serious stuff.

So we're doing our bit and have a team in place on their website for people to donate anything towards the cause. If you could spare us a quid or two it would be greatly appreciated! It is of course for a really good cause and we hope to raise as much as we can to do our bit.

Simply support our team by visiting the following link https://www.movember.com/uk/register/details/team_id/275814

Working in a creative industry it's normal to make hundreds of decisions a day about the way something looks, and using the right font is often a crucial step in determining whether the outcome of a design is seamless or substandard. Typography is the age old technique of arranging type to make language more legible and visible, but today more than ever its crucial to look at how we use it in our work and the kind of impact it can make. All fonts have a personality, and with this comes the power to set the tone of your work. But with web design it has often been the case that the online aspect of typography has been overlooked, and web designers have not been given the same level of freedom and choice with their use of fonts as print designers. But with digital and online environments becoming such an integral part of our daily lives, it became clear that this was something that needed to evolve.

Here's where Typekit comes in. They are innovators of web typography, finally allowing designers to use more aesthetically relevant and appropriate type to enhance user's online experiences. If you use Typekit or know of them, you may have heard their big news this month - they were acquired by software company Adobe.

They offer a pioneering subscription service that allows beautiful, high quality fonts to be embedded into websites. This is a huge step up from the days of web designers being restricted to using just a few basic web-safe fonts, which was a huge hurdle when trying to be creative with designs...
